The Maxwell RSC Cultured Cells DNA Kit is used with the Maxwell RSC Instrument to provide a simple method for efficient, automated extraction of DNA from up to 5 x 10^6 mammalian tissue culture cells and 2 x 10^9 bacterial cells. The kit contains all the necessary reagents for DNA extraction from cell culture and is used with the Maxwell RSC Instrument in a convenient prefilled cartridge format. Cultured cell sample is added directly into well #1 of the cartridges and purified DNA is ready for analysis in about 45 minutes. Purified DNA can be used directly in a variety of downstream applications such as agarose gel electrophoresis and other amplification-based assays.
